Position Title: Vice President – Sales
Reports To: Managing Director & Joint Managing Director
Location: Ahmedabad/Gandhinagar
Age Range: 35–50 years
Experience: Minimum 15 years total, with at least 5 years in a senior sales leadership role; must have led hypergrowth at ₹100 Cr+ scale in B2B, B2C & B2G tech/industrial sectors

Role Overview

We are seeking a transformation leader to drive a hypergrowth agenda as Vice President – Sales. The primary mandate is to achieve a step-change in revenue, scaling from ₹200 Cr to ₹300 Cr in FY26-27. This role demands a proven architect of breakthrough sales strategies, hands-on digital sales leadership, and the ability to rapidly scale high-performance teams in dynamic B2B, B2C Export & B2G environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hypergrowth Strategy & Execution
    Architect and execute a step-change go-to-market plan to deliver revenue growth (₹200 Cr to ₹300 Cr in 12 months), including rapid new customer acquisition (government, and private), aggressive regional/exports expansion, and fast scaling of channel partnerships.
  • Sales Team Scale-Up
    Rapidly double the size and capability of the sales organization, building a high-performance, target-driven culture aligned to stretch goals.
  • Digital & Data-Driven Sales
    Lead adoption of advanced CRM, sales automation, and analytics to drive pipeline velocity, conversion rates, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Solution & Consultative Selling
    Drive technical/solution sales excellence, particularly for complex B2B offerings in dairy tech, food safety, or related domains. Foster consultative selling capabilities across the team.
  • Cross-Functional Growth Leadership:
    Collaborate with product, marketing, and service teams to launch new offerings, adapt GTM strategies in real time, and ensure customer-centric innovation.
  • Financial & Operational Management:
    Own sales budgeting, AOP formulation, and resource allocation to maximize ROI and profitability.
  • Market Intelligence & Competitive Edge:
    Continuously monitor market trends, competitor moves, and customer needs to refine sales strategy and maintain leadership.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients, partners, and internal stakeholders to unlock new business opportunities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Hypergrowth Track Record: Demonstrated success in delivering 50%+ annual sales growth at ₹100 Cr+ scale, ideally in B2B, B2C & B2G tech/industrial sectors.
  • Sales Leadership: Proven ability to scale and lead large sales teams, set and manage KRAs/KPIs, and drive high performance under aggressive targets.
  • Sales Strategy: Expertise in designing and executing breakthrough GTM plans, including new customer acquisition, tender/private sales, and channel development.
  • Digital Fluency: Hands-on experience with advanced CRM, sales automation, and analytics tools.
  • Technical/Consultative Sales: Deep experience in solution selling for complex B2B, B2C & B2G products (dairy tech, food safety, industrial, or similar).
  • Financial Acumen: Strong skills in sales budgeting, AOP, and profitability management.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Experience collaborating with product, marketing, and service teams to drive growth.
  • Communication & Influence: Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Job Purpose:

We’re seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Sales Representative to expand our market share and promote our cutting-edge dairy testing instruments across the USA and Latin America. The successful candidate will have a robust technical background, an in-depth understanding of the dairy industry, and be equipped with strategic sales techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and cultivate relationships with new and existing customers within the dairy industry to meet sales targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify and understand current industry trends, customer needs, and competitors’ strategies.
  • Demonstrate the technical aspects and benefits of our dairy testing instruments, providing expertise and solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals with clients across diverse market sectors.
  • Provide ongoing support and education to customers about instrument functionality, maintenance, and upgrades.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to network, promote our brand, and keep updated on market trends.
  • Coordinate with the technical support team to resolve any issues or concerns that clients may experience.
  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan for the USA and Latin America markets, in collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Provide feedback to the R&D and marketing teams to inform future products and marketing campaigns based on customer insights and market demand.
  • Regularly update the CRM system with client interactions, sales pipeline, and forecast information.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the USA and internationally to Latin America.

Qualifications:

  • Technical degree in Engineering, Dairy Science, or related discipline.
  • An MBA with a specialization in Sales & marketing or similar is highly preferred.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in sales, specifically within the dairy/food testing industry or selling analytical instruments.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency in English and preferably also in Spanish to effectively communicate with clients in Latin America.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand and articulate the functionality and benefit of sophisticated dairy testing instruments.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to self-manage, prioritize tasks, and work in a dynamic environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and passport for travel.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Drive the sales function and take complete ownership of P&L and annual revenue targets.
  • To lead the short term and long term planning, and developing Marketing and Sales strategies for the entire India Business.
  • To attend review meetings with Management on periodic basis and support Management in planning & review sales / support activities periodically.
  • Create a culture of success and an ongoing business and goal achievement possibly more important than the first item on this list.
  • Lead and manage the sales teams, back-end sales operations, and resources to deliver profitable business growth and expansion of network.

  • Work closely with marketing function to establish successful support, channel and partner programs. Also plan and participate in local / domestic / international level exhibitions related to dairy / dairy instruments pan India.
  • To represent Everest in Industry and Professional forums for establishing/expanding network and to contribute in organisational brand building. 
  • Being a senior member of the team, work with direct line managers in developing and training junior staff.
  • Promote open, constructive, and collaborative relations with superiors, subordinates, peers and generating a one-firm culture.
  • Conduct activities at corporates interacting with line managers to provide inputs for sales generation.
  • Ensure timely collection of outstanding sales revenue from clients.
  • Ensure timely submission of periodic MIS to concern stake holders for decision-making.
  • Arrange and conduct daily, weekly and monthly sales review meetings with sales team.

Qualification & Experience

  • Technical degree in Engineering, Dairy Science, or related discipline.
  • An MBA with a specialization in Sales & marketing or similar is highly preferred.

Must:
