What is Rapid Mastitis Test Kit?

Since sub-clinical mastitis shows no visible changes in milk or the udder, early and reliable detection becomes critical. This paper strip-based kit enables proactive herd health management by identifying infections at an early stage and preventing progression to clinical mastitis.

What Can You Analyze?
The test kit analyzes milk samples to detect mastitis by identifying variations associated with somatic cell count (SCC). It differentiates between milk from normal udders, sub-clinical mastitis, and clinical mastitis based on the intensity of colour change on the test strip. This allows to assess udder health accurately and take timely corrective actions.
